About

The Gamers Basketball Association

Where Crews Become Franchises.

TGBA is owned and operated by Cresium Capital Partners LLC. It is an independent NBA 2K27 league and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, 2K, or Take-Two Interactive. NBA 2K27 is the game being played.

Season One is eight franchises, East and West, a ten-game regular season, the Association Cup, then playoffs.

Independent Players, Draft, and Free Agency

A participant may enter TGBA Season One as part of a proposed franchise or as an Independent Player seeking a roster opportunity.

An Independent Player must create and verify an individual TGBA account, complete a public recruiting profile, and affirmatively join the Season One Player Pool. Joining the Player Pool permits TGBA to display the player’s chosen public name, gamertag, platform, playing positions, general availability, time zone, and recruiting status. Private account information is not displayed.

During the recruiting period, approved franchises may send roster invitations to available Independent Players. Each player must personally accept an invitation before becoming rostered.

At the announced Player Pool deadline, unassigned players who confirm their continued eligibility, availability, and willingness to accept selection become Draft Eligible. TGBA will conduct a roster-completion draft designed first to bring every approved franchise to the minimum required roster size and then, as player availability permits, to add reserve players up to the maximum roster size.

A draft selection creates a provisional roster invitation. The selected player must accept the invitation within the announced acceptance period. A declined or expired selection does not create a roster assignment, and TGBA may authorize a replacement selection.

After the initial rosters are certified, eligible players who were not selected may remain in the Player Pool as Free Agents. A player who is later released from a franchise may also opt into Free Agency. Franchises with open roster positions may invite available Free Agents under the applicable roster deadlines and transaction rules.

No player may occupy an active or reserve position for more than one Season One franchise. TGBA does not guarantee that an Independent Player, Draft Eligible player, or Free Agent will be selected, invited, rostered, or receive playing time.
